[CALL FOR PAPERS] 2025 25th International Conference on Digital Signal Processing

About DSP 2025
The 25th International Conference on Digital Signal Processing (DSP 2025), technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Signal Processing Society and EURASIP and the APSIPA, will take place from June 25–27, 2025, in Costa Navarino, Messinia, located in the picturesque southwest Peloponnese, Greece. As the longest-running conference in the field of digital signal processing, DSP 2025 continues a legacy that began in London in 1967, traveling through iconic locations such as Florence, Nicosia, Limassol, Santorini, Cardiff, Corfu, Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai, and most recently, Rhodes in 2023. The conference aims to unite leading experts from academia and industry to share the latest advances and discoveries in digital signal processing and analysis.

Scope and Topics
DSP 2025 addresses both the theory and practical applications of filtering, coding, transmission, estimation, detection, analysis, recognition, synthesis, recording, and reproduction of signals using digital techniques and devices. The term “signal” encompasses a wide range of domains, including audio, video, speech, image, communication, geophysical, sonar, radar, medical, musical, and other types of signals. Relevant topics align with the fields covered by IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Signal Processing, IEEE Open Journal of Signal Processing, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, and IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security.

Program Highlights
The program will feature presentations of novel theories, applications, and results through lecture, poster, and plenary sessions. A cornerstone of DSP conferences is the inclusion of Special Sessions, organized by internationally recognized experts to delve deeply into cutting-edge topics. For DSP 2025, the central theme will be “Deepfake Signals, Images, and Videos,” addressing the challenges and opportunities in this rapidly evolving area.

PAPER SUBMISSION

The official language of the conference is English. Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length papers, adhering to the following guidelines:
  • Length: Up to 4 pages for technical content, including figures, tables, and references. An optional 5th page is allowed, but it should contain references only.
  • Template: Authors must use IEEE-approved templates for the paper format.
  • Policy: The IEEE “no-show” policy will apply.
Authors should specify one or more relevant categories from the provided list that best describe the topic of their paper. Additionally, they may indicate a preference for either lecture or poster presentation. Both formats will undergo the same rigorous review process and will be treated equally in terms of academic and technical merit.
All submitted papers will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers through a single-blind peer review process, where reviewers’ identities are anonymous to the authors, but authors’ identities are known to reviewers. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to compliance with IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality standards.

Social Program
Beyond the technical program, DSP 2025 will offer a rich social program for attendees and their companions. Set against the stunning backdrop of Costa Navarino, participants will have the opportunity to connect with colleagues and friends in a setting of outstanding natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. This program is designed to foster networking and collaboration while enjoying one of the world’s most renowned international destinations.
